About Us
Indian Performing Arts and Promotions (IPAP) is a not for profit cultural organization established in 1995 in the state of Maryland, dedicated to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage through classical dances and music.
Performing arts has a well-placed significance in the Indian society. IPAP has established itself the sole organization in USA in promoting Odissi, one of the major form of Indian classical dance. IPAP has hosted International Odissi Festival here in the Washington DC and in Bhubaneswar, India. Since its inception, IPAP has consistently sponsored scores of artists from India to perform, hold lecture demonstration and formal dance training in USA.
